Here are three things you should know heading into the break: 1. Southwest keeps going forward. Despite the airline industry being rocked by the pandemic, Southwest apparently decided it was the perfect time for rapid expansion - adding 10 new cities to its network by the end of 2021. Southwest has lost $2.2B+ this year… but the airline is well-positioned to expand for 3 reasons: it enjoys a lower cost structure than other airlines, it has less debt than its competitors (and more cash than debt), it focuses on domestic routes, where air travel is showing some early signs of rebounding. The Hustle 2. Yubo is coming. Maybe. The new social media app has just raised over $47 million in its quest to become the new hottest picture-based app for the kids to use. It’s doing a lot more than just copying Snap stories. The app consists of a variety of “rooms” users can enter to videochat with friends or strangers. Rooms are filtered by location or topic of conversation and are meant to facilitate the type of spontaneous interactions that bubble up at an IRL party. In between chats, users can swipe left or right to add friends, similar to Tinder. Retail Brew 3. Curious to know the most popular Thanksgiving side dishes of each state?
