Also, don't forget to nominate someone for Spring Into Action! Our company quarterly meeting is next Wednesday, 11/11.  And here are three other things you should know:

1. We already know one bigger winner of the 2020 election. Laws either decriminalizing marijuana outright or giving the go ahead for medicinal use came up big this election cycle, now leaving only a handful of states with laws making its use totally illegal in all forms. Somewhere, Jeff Spicoli is smiling. New Jersey, Arizona, Montana, and South Dakota all voted to legalize the recreational sale of marijuana to those 21 and older. Mississippi also gave the green light to medical marijuana. Oregon voters took things a step further, allowing licensed service providers to administer psilocybin mushrooms. The use of ‘shrooms as a treatment for anxiety, PTSD, and depression has drawn a lot of interest from the scientific community. Oregon took steps to combat a worsening opioid epidemic, becoming the first state to decriminalize possession of hard drugs. The Hustle 2. Want to try a local favorite? For those that find themselves hesitating to go outdoors with the increase of Covid cases, give this mac 'n' cheese recipe from the Iberian Pig a shot this weekend. Iberian Pig’s executive chef John Castellucci explains the inspiration for this [macaroni and cheese]. “We wanted to do a Spanish take on a Southern classic using Mahon cheese from the Mediterranean coast of Spain as well as Jamón Ibérico. Mahon melts really well and incorporates into the sauce nicely — it is buttery, sharp, and has a grassy note to it. For the ‘charcuterie crumble,’ we use Jamón Ibérico, the parts of the leg that are harder to get nice slices from, and put them through the meat grinder before getting them crispy with just a little bit of oil. The result is the best type of comfort food with a Spanish twist!” Recipe at AJC 3.
